It was the first game of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League matchday 27 as Accra-based club, Accra Lions welcome Medeama SC to the Accra Sports Stadium as they fight for all important three points.

A game of 6 goals thriller was very entertaining for the fans at the stadium as the home fans laughed out last at the end.

With the home team starting well from the beginning of the game, It was a show day for Bassit Seidu as he fired 4 goals for his side.
The home side pressed well as they got the opener just 10 minutes into the game from Bassit Seidu who was spectacular today.

This settled the home team easily as Seidu doubled his tally for the day leaving the visiting team very confused after 32 minutes of action time. Which eventually gave the home team the nod going into the break.

The second half began as the visiting team varied their tactics as they levelled back into the game through the spot on both occasions via Vincent Atinga Addae in the 56th and 62nd minute respectively.

The game was even as Bassit Seidu’s magic started again as he gave his side the victory through his last-minute antics which resulted in two goals.
Adding up to his tally for the day, 4 goals.

However, a win for the home team has catapulted them back to the top 4 race as they sit in the 4th position with 41 points, just a point behind regional rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

The action continues tomorrow as Bechem United host Accra Hearts of Oak at the Nana Gyeabour Park.
