It was the last game in the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League matchday 27 as defending champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko hosted league leaders, Aduana Stars under floodlight at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The game which got more eyeballs around the country was underway as the results of the game were much appreciated by the fans.

With the home team not starting well as the visiting team took charge of the game as they eventually got the opener through Isaac Mintah in the 26th minute after their wonderful press over the Porcupine Warriors.

The Ogya Boys went to sleep as the Porcupine Warriors took over the wheel just 2 minutes of being behind as they began to dictate the pace of the game.

Steven Mukwala brought the home team onto the pecking order in the 38th minute as they went into the break bounded together with both teams where hoping to vary their tactics.

The second half began well for the home team as they pushed hard from the blast of the whistle which eventually resulted in a goal just three minutes into the second half through Eric Zeze which gave the Porcupine Warriors total charge over the game.

The Porcupine Warriors managed the game well their hope to end the winning streak of the Ogya Boys was successful.

A win for the Porcupine Warriors pushes them back to the 5th spot on the league log while the Ogya Boys still retain their first sport with 47 points.
