The sound department started well for the Cityzens as went ahead through youngster Cole Palmer in the 77th minute but eventually cancelled out late for the Gunners through an own goal from Man City’s Manuel Akanji in the embers of the game.
They proceeded to the penalty shootout as the Gunners beat the Cityzens 4-1 on penalties.
However, making It the second Community Shield and third trophy in total for Mikel Arteta since he joined Arsenal in 2019.
It’s Community Shield number 17 in Arsenal history.
