Blackstars Captain, Andre Ayew has pulled out of Ghana’s squad for the trip to Angola for Monday’s game.
The skipper missed out on the matchday squad against Angola in Kumasi last Thursday which saw many Ghanaians questioning the decision as to why he was dropped in such an important fixture.
Andre picked up a knee injury while warming up along the touchline during Thursday’s win in Kumasi, however making it difficult for the all-time capped player for the Blackstars to join the contingent to Angola.
Team doctors have now excused him to travel back to England for further checks.
