The road to Istanbul is still on, as 8 teams are set to battle it all out for the UEFA Champions League trophy. It’s the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League knockout stage as the remaining teams are yet to know the fate of their next opponent. With 32 teams starting the campaign in 8 groups, 8 teams now stand tall as they seek to prepare for their next opponent for the Quarterfinals.

Chelsea, AC Milan, Manchester City, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are the last 8 teams standing in the competition after an impressive performance in the round of 16.

With Chelsea dumping out Dortmund, the blues are hoping the chase their third UEFA Champions League trophy, which eventually stands as the only silverware they can fight for this year, while Manchester City whitewashed RB Leipzig (8-1) on aggregate as they still seek to grab their first ever UEFA Champions League trophy after failing off against Chelsea in 2019/2020.

With AC Milan missing in action in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League in 9 years. The 7 times Champions will seek to win eight trophies after beating Tottenham Hotspurs (1-0) on aggregate, with Inter Milan knocking off FC Porto in a tight two-legged game and Napoli going past Frankfurt. The Italian teams making a mark for the very first time in 17 years, three Italian Clubs have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich cut off the dreams of French giant Paris Saint Germain as they tend to chase their first-ever European trophy under the Qatari Sports Consult. A repeat of the 2018/2019 finals as the six times Champions exercise their power and experience in the competition.
