Barely few weeks to start the 33rd edition of 2021 African cup of nations in Cameroon, the Syli Nationale paid a courtesy call to the interim President, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya at the Mohamed V castle.

The Guinean AFCON contingent led by Coach, Kaba Diawara received the Guinean flag from Colonel Doumbouya which indicates the latter and the entire people of Guinea support to the national team ahead of the elite African tournament which commences on Sunday, January 9th to Sunday, February 6th 2022 in Cameroon.

After the presentation of the famous national flag to the team, Colonel Doumbouya addressed the team and didn’t mince words.

He said “If you don’t return with the trophy, you will pay back the money invested in you”.

The Syli Nationale of Guinea are in group b alongside Senegal, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
