AFCON2021: Check out the monies Cameroonian players are receiving For Afcon.

Each player of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will be getting 114,445,000 FCFA (about $200,000) if they win the #AFCON2021

The players have already received 30,000,000 FCFA ($52,000) for competing in the tournament.

Qualifying out of group stage = 15,000,000 FCFA ($25,848) per player

Qualifying out of Round 16 = 9,000,000 FCFA ($15,509) per player

Quarterfinals win = 10,000,000 FCFA ($17,232) per player

Semi-Final win = 15,000,000FCFA ($25,839) per player

Third place = 5,000,000 FCFA ($8,613) per player

Final = 30,000,000 FCFA ($51,697) per player

In total the country will be spending not less than $5 million only this year’s tournament

Indeed money is a motivational tool for players but as to when it could win them the ultimate pitch will decide.
