As Ivory Coast get themselves ready to host Africa in the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations, the Ebimpe Olympic Stadium which will host the opening and final game of the tournament is due to the completion.

The Stadium will host 60,000 soccer fans when final touches are done. The stadium sits on 20 hectares and is 61 metres high over three levels. It is be located at Ebimpe a town in the Northern part of Cote d’Ivoire

The stadium which was first inaugurated by President Ouattara in October 2021 could host 50,000 spectators after 4 yrs of completion. Its renovation will extend its capacity to 60,000

The Ebimpe Olympic Stadium will be the biggest in Cote d’Ivoire. Bigger than the famous Felix Boigny Stadium built in 1952 and situated at the heart of Abidjan.
