Accra Great Olympics has formally written to Ghanaian champions, Accra Hearts of oak to release Gladson Awako for registration ahead of the 2021-

Accra Great Olympics has formally written to Ghanaian champions, Accra Hearts of oak to release Gladson Awako for registration ahead of the 2021-22 Ghana football season.

Maverick football administrator and CEO of Accra Great Olympics, Oloboi Commodore recently made it public that Hearts of oak have breached the contract payment of Awako hence demand the immediate return of the experienced midfielder to the Dade boys.

According to Oloboi Commodore, Hearts of oak were suppose to make a GH100,000 payment for the services of Awako but rather made a part payment of GH50,000 and the remaining amount was agreed on paper by both clubs to be settled on or before October 2nd, 2021 which Hearts of oak will lose the player after failing to make full payment on the said date.

Ahead of the new season, Accra Great Olympics has officially written to Hearts of oak for the immediate release of Awako for registration
The letter which was signed by the CEO and copied to the GFA reads,

” Please be informed that because of your refusal and failure to respect the agreement, paragraph (5) of the said agreement is automatically invoked.

“You are respectfully advised to release the player, Gladson Awako, to Accra Great Olympics immediately so that we can process his registration for the 2021/22 football season.”

Player registration for the 2021-22 Ghana football season is ongoing and ends on October 23rd, 2021.
