Champions of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League season Medeama SC have announced their partnership with Fiase Golden Royal FC as the official women’s team.
As part of the regulations laid down by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the 2023/2024 Champions League and the Confederation Cup must have a female club which will however enable them to partake in the competition.
Concerning that, Ghanaian club Medeama SC has partnered up with Fiase Golden Royal Ladies FC as they hope to improve Women’s football.
They made this announcement through a statement.
“The announcement represents another significant and exciting step forward in adopting a female football club as part of CAF’s growing effort of developing the game.
The club will provide logistical and other support to the team in the Western Region Division One Women’s League.
Medeama is excited at the partnership with Fiase Golden Royal Ladies FC as we week to improving women’s football”.
