“I will stay and lead Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers in March. I believe we have a team that can become stronger and get to the World Cup.” Coach Milovan Rajevac

Answering a question on his future with the national team after the post-match press conference of the Ghana Comoros game,
the Serbian said in full confidence that he is staying and will lead as the head coach in the world cup qualifying matches.

Coach Milovan Rajevac was the coach of the national team in 2010 where Ghana reached the finals of the AFCON and the quarter-final of the world cup. He later left the team and went his way but later return in 2021 after CK Akonnor was sacked

Will Ghana continue to work with him after such a shambolic performance of the Black Stars?

After the early promise, Milovan Rajevac’s return has felt like the return of Burkhard Ziese that ended with failure to qualify for Afcon2004 after losing to Jimmy Gatete’s Rwanda.

The “2nd coming don’t work” brigade have won.
